Henry and Jake
For the last three months, we've been saying that Henry looks just like his daddy. We stumbled across an old baby photo of Jake last week and really thought the two of them looked a lot like. Then we tried to recreate Jake's baby photo with Henry and that is when we realized that maybe, just maybe, Henry might not look just like daddy. Could it be that there really is some of me in him as well?

I think my heart just might explode. Dang this kid gets better and better every day (and he, of course, was perfect from day one!).
On a sadder note, Hank the Tank (we're trying to come up with a nickname that is not Hen because what child wants to be called Hen?)has been coughing so hard at night that he ends up puking. Needless to say, my 6 hour at time night sleeper has been waking up much more frequently but at least he's finding something to smile about during the day!

Valentine's Day
Henry was one sick dude on his first Valentine's Day. He had a not so lovely little cough and was fairly miserable all day.
Lucky for us all he wants is sleep and extra cuddles when he's not feeling well.

(Contrary to popular belief the temperature in our house didn't actually warrant the wearing of hoods...)

Not so teeny tiny...

I thought that when I was home on maternity leave the blog might actually get a little more love. Silly me, why blog when one can sleep...or at least stare off into space.
Our teeny tiny baby, is now a chunk. At four weeks he was a little over ten pounds and at the rate he is eating he'll probably be twenty pounds by the time he is three months old.
Housh seems to be getting used to the fact that unlike all the other babies that have been to our house, this kid isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He does his best to ignore Henry but has moved back to sleeping in bed with us- this may be because it is the only room in our house that is above 55 degrees at night.
