While we may have very much enjoyed bathing in the sun for our Spring Break, we did have a great time exploring the Redwoods and making our car our temporary home.
J and J happy in the car. This was not taken on the night we had chili for dinner. No one was smiling that night.
We went on a lot of great hikes. One of our favorite hikes led us to a private beach. Unfortunately, we had to cross a "very narrow and treacherous" walkway. Here is Jake 27 minutes before he made the crossing.
Another hike took us through a canyon that involved crossing over water multiple times.
We had beautiful camping spots every night. Although we about pooed our pants when we had to pay $35 a night to sleep in our car.
Hats were a necessity not only because it was chilly at night, but also because we didn't shower the entire time we were gone. Delightful, we know.
We saw quite a lot of this.
It was amazing. To see more pictures of this type, you can go to Jake's facebook page.
We knew it was time to head home when we discovered a slug on the bottom of our wine bottle.
